We’ve been working with the legend that is Eric Cantona to help UEFA Champions League fans get the most out of their travel with Hotels.com

The last couple of weeks have seen us land a ton of work.

From IKEA at the Chelsea Flower Show to an appearance from the Queen at Sainsbury’s to weird trips across Europe with Trainline to finding a new social media manager for the Royal Family via LinkedIn to announcing a Spice Bus, finding Britain’s best beaches to shifting a ton of Google Pixel 3 handsets.

It’s been BUSY.

But the best is still to come and this little campaign with Hotels.com is the next one to land.

Charged with finding a way to make Hotels.com part of the conversation around the UEFA Champions League final which takes place in the not-too-distant future, we were asked to come up with an integrated advertising and editorial campaign.

Thus, Eric Cantona’s Guide to Madrid was born.

Eric has been showing fans what they’re missing out on when they follow their team across the continent but fail to take in the local sites in this little film …

That particular film is about to go live on various platforms – YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and a host of others – across Hotels.com markets Europe-wide as part of a major campaign push.

We also landed the story across national titles including (to date), the Daily Mirror, Daily Star and METRO, alongside a host of European coverage to come.

It’s been an amazing ride and a real journey to make our latest international content-led paid and earned campaign fly. Watch this space for more to come …!
