What’s better than working with one Olympic gold medallist? Working with three of course!
Well, we had that great pleasure yesterday when we ran a media day in Manchester with Honda Motor Europe and Honda (UK) to activate their PR partnership with the Wiggle Honda pro women’s cycling team. And the Olympians in question? None other than British cycling superstars Laura Trott OBE, Joanna Rowsell MBE and Dani King MBE.
The day that unfolded was a memorable experience for all involved, including BBC Sport, The Sunday Times, Daily Telegraph, Bodyfit and OK Magazine. From learning about their diet and fitness regimes to getting to ride with girls themselves, it was a day that won’t be forgotten quickly.
And the cherry on the cake? A lovely four minute piece on BBC Breakfast this morning with presenter and cycling fan Louise Minchin. Cracking work all round from the team.
