We’ve wrapped-up our third pan-European campaign for Hotels.com as Eric Cantona unveiled the “Do Not Disturb Suites” for long-suffering football fans

In our third UEFA Champions League campaign for Hotels.com we were re-united with the legend that is Eric Cantona.

Year one saw us fly to Madrid to teach football fans how to travel. Year two marked the end of lockdown and Eric opened up his own hotel – Casa de Cantona – in the South of France.

Our third instalment saw the unveiling of The Do Not Disturb Suites.

Built on the insight that there is no peace or privacy for football fans who just wanted to settle down and watch a match – with kids, dogs, the Zoom calls, deliveries. When all a fan wanted was a couple of hours to soak up the beautiful game.

So it was that we created a series of rooms in hotels across Europe to give long-suffering football fans a chance to feel like the king for a day with private spaces in which they could watch the UEFA Champions League Final for just £20.21. One lucky fan would even win Eric as their own private butler for occasion.

The footballing and acting superstar delivered his best performance yet video as he donned a dressing gown, hid in a cupboard, got into his birthday suit and lived his best Hotel Life.

With Eric’s Instagram and splashes in The Sun, Daily Mirror, Metro, Daily Express, Daily Star and Joe.co.uk the “Do Not Disturb Suites” resonated with fans across the land.
