We’ve been working with new client Hyundai to drive interest in the KONA Electric SUV with some good, honest family fun …

We’ve been working with the lovely people at Hyundai to quite literally drive awareness of the new KONA Electric SUV, helping parents get back to doing safe, fun family adventures whilst doing our bit for the returning tourism and hospitality industries …

We partnered with one of the UK’s most popular theme park and resorts, Chessington World of Adventures, to create our very own Hyundai KONA Electric Safari package, a safe and controlled environment to give families the confidence and security they need to make new memories together once more. By providing a fleet of Hyundai KONA cars, parents for the first time could drive up-close to zebra, ankole cattle and ostrich before then hand-feeding the giraffe!

A spot of consumer research which revealed that parents were craving fun and exciting family activities, but were anxious to keep their children safe as restrictions continue to loosen, and we had ourselves a news story.

Whilst the Hyundai KONA’s zero-emissions and near silent engine were a perfectly peaceful way for the animals get reacquainted with humans again, we made sure we were heard thanks to a range of national and consumer lifestyle coverage.

A standout piece of broadcast coverage on ITV’s Lorraine, as well as print and online hits on the Daily Mirror, The Sun, Daily Star and the Evening Standard led the charge. With over 8,000 families contacting Chessington wanting to sign up and take part in the experience over the August Bank Holiday weekend, we found ourselves driving away very happy with this one.
