The Royal Mint projects unique coin display on The Tower of London in celebration of HRH Queen Elizabeth II’s 95th birthday

We needed to help The Royal Mint to launch a series of commemorative coins and drive sales. around a series of big royal events that take place this year.

To mark The Queen’s official 95th birthday on 12 June (and a year ahead of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations next year) The Royal Mint hosted an impressive projection display at their ancestral home, The Tower of London, featuring all of the Queen’s effigies to date and a Commemorative birthday coin.

The special “Life in Coins” illumination also commemorated 86 years since the Queen’s coronation on 2nd June 1959.

The spectacular display was projected across the beautiful backdrop of the Tower of London, with the buzz of busy city-dwellers in view across the river.

Media lapped up the news, with a total of 184 titles covering the projection. Including the likes of national titles The TimesMetro, Evening Standard, The Sun, Indy100, Daily Mail, Daily Express and across multiple consumer and regional titles.

All in all a huge success, and a cracking way to mark this momentous historical event and personal achievement for The Queen.
