The team behind The Body Coach, which includes its founder Joe Wicks (the nation’s PE teacher and, dare we say it, national treasure), are on a mission to make fitness fun and accessible to everyone.
We’ve been working with them on a very exciting new project, launching The Body Coach Studios, the app’s first in-person fitness studio, to help raise awareness of the platform and drive sign-ups during one of the busiest times of the year for the fitness industry.
It seems like everyone makes some kind of fitness resolution in January, but The Body Coach data found that people lose motivation by the third Thursday of January… Hence why we’ve thrown open the doors of The Body Coach Studios, to help people stay motivated.
We worked closely with the team of Body Coach instructors to make sure the classes were as inclusive as possible – ranging from Joe’s famous HIIT workouts to family-friendly sessions and classes in British Sign Language for the deaf community.
News of the pop-up spread like wildfire, with the team securing not one, but FOUR double page spreads in Hello, OK! Magazine, Daily Express and New Magazine as well as interviews on This Morning and ITV News London.
The coverage just kept coming with the likes of GQ, Metro, The Sun and Coach all covering the announcement which led to tickets for Joe’s sessions selling-out in a matter of hours!
Alongside the campaign, the team also worked tirelessly to plug The Body Coach App in as many fitness-related articles at the start of the year as possible, securing a whopping 40 pieces of product placement coverage in titles such as T3, Country & Townhouse and more.
So, if you or anyone you know is struggling to stay motivated, why not give The Body Coach app a try? In the words of Joe: you never regret a workout.
