The countdown to Christmas was well and truly underway and with office parties, Christmas shopping and family get-togethers in full flow.
So Hope&Glory’s Guinness team created a “Pint Sized Pub”, designed to encourage members of the public to spend time with their pals over the festive period.
Following research which found that Brits are suffering from “festive fatigue,” the Pint Sized Pub offered a cosy catch up spot. But, critically, would only open its doors for exactly five people at a time. According to science, five is the perfect number of people for a get-together.
It was open for five days at Londonโs Flat Iron Square and attracted 160 visitors, with an estimated 300 pints of Guinness consumed.
Media loved it, with features across the Daily Telegraph, Daily Mirror, Daily Star, Evening Standard (twice), The Sun, Londonist and Hello!. Alongside a host of other pieces across the news and lifestyle media – including a feature on ABC News, unexpectedly!
Now, having created the perfect pub, it made sense to us to have a party in it. We are PRs, after all.
So we reasoned that, as influencers donโt always get to enjoy an annual office party, we ought to hold one for them. So it was that we welcomed 27 influencers including Kate Ovens, Maeve Madden and Love Islandโs very own Doctor Alex George for a festive bash to coincide with our pub opening.
With over 100 Instagram Stories rolling in throughout the evening and some very happy punters, it was a huge success and got the festive season off to a cracking start …
