We’ve been working with Facebook Watch to launch “Ramadan Together”, helping Muslims stay in touch at this important time of year

With Ramadan celebrations affected by COVID-19, we’ve been working with Facebook Watch and a host of UK Creators on the platform to launch ‘Ramadan Together’. A series that explores how Muslims will be staying in touch and marking Ramadan this year despite the virus.

As part of ‘Ramadan Together’ Facebook collaborated with UK Muslim Creators Basma Khalifa and Mohamed Abdulle to give personal insights into how they celebrate Ramadan. Other contributors included lifestyle influencer Dina Tokio, model Mariah Idrissi and BBC Radio presenter Mim Shaikh, with content packaged up into a short clip called ‘Ramadan Stories’.

Working closely with Facebook and the Creators, we hit the ground running pitching interviews and clips with some fantastic coverage across Telegraph Online, Mirror Online, Metro Online, Express Online (twice!) and Radio 1Xtra, with more to come.
