We’ve been having a splendid time working with the lovely people at Powerleague to create a cheeky little World Cup (of course we can’t say that officially) campaign to promote their venues across the country as the ideal spot to enjoy the games.
Which is, of course, how we found ourselves working with barber to football royalty Sheldon Edwards, who has trimmed the locks of bigwigs including Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden, Erling Haaland, Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema amongst others.
To land some pretty awesome coverage we opened a temporary barber’s shop at Powerleague venues and offered guests the opportunity to get themselves a World Cup hairstyle – from the Foden 2022 to the Ronaldo 2002.
Just one of the highlights was this absolute belter with The Sun. With a cheeky spot of research to back the campaign it cleaned-up across the regionals to back Powerleague’s role in football’s biggest celebration.
