We helped Moonpig remind “Forgetful Britain” of their loved one’s special dates to help promote the brand’s reminders service …

From birthdays to anniversaries, our busy lives have caused us to forget important annual occasions.

Using this insight, we worked alongside Moonpig to launch their Reminder Service by conducting research into Brit’s habits towards remembering special dates. We found that the public forget their Mums and Dads’ birthday on average nine times within their lives.

The general public also forgets close friends’ birthdays 72.2 million times, their best friends’ birthdays 50.8 million times and even grandmas, siblings and grandpas have been forgotten a combined 127 million times.

To resolve this issue, we joined forces with world-champion memory expert, Mark Channon, to offer tips on how to memorise dates easier, whilst also highlighting Moonpig’s new Reminder Service as an easy solution.

We packaged our findings alongside information on the new service, which landed us fantastic coverage across the likes of, This Morning, The Sun, Evening Standard, Sunday Mail, Sunday People, Daily Record and a host of Regional titles inc. My London, Leeds Live and Wales Online.

And with 11% of the adults surveyed believing that forgetting a wedding anniversary should be grounds for divorce, we can now say that we’ve done our bit to save a few marriages too…
