Hej!
Ahead of IKEA opening its new Oxford Street store, we put on a series of events which engaged young Londoners during a time when they are shifting how they socialise due to rising costs and evolving habits.
Partnering with the “going out” types over at Lab54, we hosted at five housewarming parties in various London locations, including a kebab shop and a library (why not), designed to create a unique and immersive experience with entertainment at the very core. And entertaining it was.
We also delivered a suite of social and editorial coverage live with the likes of Hypebeast, Hypebae and Culted to name but a few of the culture titles we took along for the ride.
The week-long event series finished with a BIG pre-opening housewarming event for over 200 media and influencers, hosted at Soho venue, House Party, in collaboration with London-based community radio station Rinse.FM.
With live sets from London’s favourite local artist, DJ AG, and a special appearance from Grammy-winning artist Flowdan – plus meatball pizzas, IKEA nail art and FRAKTA temporary tattoos to boot – it’s no surprise we’ve seen over 190 pieces of organic social content go live with over one million impressions (and counting) from the final night alone.
Outstanding stuff, if we may say so ourselves (which we do).
