This week we’ve been bringing two Christmas icons together for the launch of the Greggs Festive Bake

Following weeks of speculation, Greggs officially launched the festive season by announcing the return of the iconic Greggs Christmas menu with culinary icon Nigella Lawson.

In Greggs’ first Christmas ad, the domestic goddess come national treasure returns to her beautifully decorated London townhouse with a traditional Christmas tree and Greggs-themed baubles before delighting in a Festive Bake, noted for its “rapturous riot of flavour” and “succulent filling,” while gazing blissfully at the camera.

Launching ahead of the menu’s release to shops nationwide on Thursday, November 7th, the announcement follows weeks of speculation ahead of the big reveal.

Within minutes of the ad going live we announced the story to the world and this one went everywhere.

Wall-to-wall coverage across national, consumer, food, lifestyle, and broadcast, with standout editorial pieces across the likes of Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, The Sun, Daily Mirror, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph and The Guardian, all celebrating the return of the Greggs Christmas Menu in uniquely British style.

With well over 250 pieces (and counting) in less than 24 hours and blowing up on social media, needless to say, this is one of the biggest launches in Festive Bake history. Credit to a phenomenal team to bring this one to life … Greggs, Drummond Central, Academy Films and of course the Hope&Glory team where it all started.
