They say a picture tells a thousand words … which is why we ended up forging a brand new logo to mark the JV between Virgin Media and O2

In recent times we’ve been helping launch Virgin Media O2, telecom’s biggest, shiniest new joint venture.

The £31bn deal represented the biggest UK merger in a decade and the largest UK telecoms deal ever.

So to celebrate the company’s first creation, we needed something that told the story in a single visual – worth a thousand words and all.

It was how we ended up showing the forging of a new powerhouse that demonstrated the UK’s fastest broadband provider and the country’s favourite mobile network coming together.

We then quickly followed the launch news up with an announcement outlining the company’s first act, the creation of a £500k fund to support local charities and to give back to those making positive changes in communities across the UK.

In total we’ve secured over 160 pieces of coverage to date including 17 national hits on the likes of City AM, Evening Standard (twice), Daily Express, Daily Mail (twice), Independent, Daily Telegraph (twice) … with Mr Branson himself even sharing our video of the installation’s making across his social media channels.
