What do you tell people your favourite song is when they ask?
Your true favourite? Or the one you listen to only after triple-checking that your headphones are connected to your device: your musical guilty pleasure.
To celebrate Sony’s WF-1000XM3 noise cancelling headphones (and to bring a little light to the strange times we’re facing) – we paired-up with Peter Andre to uncover the UK’s top musical guilty pleasures (along with some intel around what the nation are really listening to through their headphones).

The story highlighted just how nearly one in three of us hide what we’re actually listening to, disguising our musical choices with indie bands such as Artic Monkeys, Nirvana and Kings of Leon so we could retain some credibility.
With this little gem of a story, the team secured some cracking pieces across national and consumer outlets, including the likes of OK!, Metro and Daily Express, with multiple pieces of coverage going live.
And, what’s more, we now know what we’re listening to for the rest of lockdown …
