Team adidas has been making sure that Instagram is #heretocreate in 2018 with our New Year’s Day fitness takeover that has hit screens everywhere …

The adidas team doesn’t do things by half.

So when it came to the #HereToCreate New Year’s Day campaign for 2018, we went all-in across social with the brand.

We worked with no fewer than 27 of the UK’s leading fitness influencers to create some pretty awesome content that played out across their own channels and the adidas owned-channels (mainly Instagram, being as it is the lead platform for the brand in social).

The films, which featured each of the influencers encouraging their followers to show 2018 what they’re made of – set goals and reach them. It’s all part of a wider brand campaign to show how those who are part of the adidas family are creators, each creating their best selves “every damn day”.

Working with adidas’ own team, we turned around almost 100 pieces of content – from individual films to Instagram Stories content for influencers (all shot in the adidas Women’s Studio using similar styling and art direction to ensure that we built frequency as well as reach with the end-audience).

It was a monumental task bringing everyone together, shooting, editing, signing off. But team adidas always seem to pull it off.

Let’s see if they can’t get you inspired this year …

When it seems like the entirety of Instagram had a fab year of travelling in cute bikinis, perfect friendships and thicc eyebrows, this is just a reminder that there’s actually no criteria for what ‘a good year’ is. ⠀ ⠀ Some of the most rewarding and important parts of a year can’t be depicted in a boomerang on a Instagram story. ⠀ ⠀ Like finally feeling more confident in social situations. Or arguing less with your mum. Or learning to identify when your mental health is suffering – and giving yourself some time out ???? ⠀ ⠀ The start of a new year is great time to reflect, but don’t get paralysed by the perceived standard of what a ‘highlight’ might be. ⠀ ⠀ Now go do you ???? ⠀ ⠀ Create some realistic new year goals. Better yet, create some unrealistic new year goals, make mistakes and learn from it. Or create no goals whatsoever because to you, it’s just another day lol. ⠀ ⠀ Whatever works for you, do that. Happy new year friends, ily ???? ⠀ ⠀ #heretocreate #createdwithadidas #ad @adidaswomen @adidasuk

Happy New Year everyone! ☺️ Where do I even start with my goals for 2018! 2017 has been such an incredible and surreal year and I think this video that I created with @adidaswomen sums up well how amazing last year was for me! It’s been a great one but I’m excited to work even harder and achieve even more in 2018 so here are my goals for the year ahead: 1. Spend more time doing exercise that I love. This year I’ve discovered that I love spinning, cycling and running. I had never really been on a bike more than once a year before 2017 but I now love cycling! I ran my first half marathon in 2017 and I can’t wait to do my next one! In previous years I’ve tended to stick to workouts that I’m comfortable with but this year I’m ready to try new things and push myself further in the sports that I love. 2. Be more environmentally conscious and ethical in my eating. I’m going vegan for one month as of today and I’m going to make a conscious effort to buy food with minimal packaging and try to eat more seasonally. I’m so excited to throw myself into this one! 3. Push myself out of my comfort zone more regularly. Whenever you do this, it always pays of! This year my favourite experiences have come from the times when I’ve just gone for things, regardless of how nervous I’ve been. Last year I started a new job, did shoots with some of my favourite brands (working with @adidaswomen was a complete pinch me moment!) and this year I’m moving to France for six months! I’m so excited to keeping saying yes to the things that scare me and I can’t wait to make some new and different content for you all this year! What are your goals for the year ahead? ???????? #heretocreate #createdwithadidas #ad @adidaswomen @adidasuk
