Sony’s stunning new 4K Ultra-HD televisions ad spot generates coverage across the nationals … and around the world

We’ve been hard at work with Sony this week – what with Eagles and Astrophotography – but still found time to make a bit of a song and a dance about their new ad.

Made by Adam&EveDDB, the ad for Sony 4K Ultra-High Definition televisions is a beautiful evocation of winter, capturing as it does the phenomenon of bubbles freezing in the winter air of Canada.

All of the marketing trade “stuff” below came on top of some utterly remarkable national coverage including a humdinging Daily Telegraph piece (and pic of the day), The GuardianMetro, a complete write-up on Daily Mail (and a video placement on Daily Mail Online) as well as a piccie on HuffPo. Not a bad haul altogether.

Meanwhile, thanks to some pitching and flogging from the team, the ad has been hailed Ad of the Week by the likes of AdWeek, Marketing, Campaign, The Drum (with a belting interview that ran alongside) and FastCo Create. It’s also been picked up worldwide by some of the trend blogs – the likes of Inspiration Room, Design Taxi, The Blaze and Creativity Online (so far).
