Showing you can “Go Anywhere” with Uber, we created the “Grape British Railway” to create a unique experience for influencers and media alike …

The Go Anywhere platform is one we’ve used time and again to show that Uber is more than just rides – you can find flights, trains, bikes, hire cars (and helicopters, hot air balloons, yachts, sleighs …) on the app.

At the same time, as 75% of Gen Z claim they prefer wholesome UK-based experiences to party holidays abroad, Uber uncorked the “Grape British Railway” to offer a unique way to escape the city.

Inviting passengers to sip their way through the English countryside on a classic Pullman train, sample a three-course meal, and explore an award-winning vineyardโ€ฆ all bookable for an unbelievably affordable price of ยฃ10 per person.

The team boarded the Pullman and treated 70 influencers and media to a sneak preview of the experience.

The day went down a storm on social, generating 88 pieces of organic content with well over 1 million views and social reach of 3 million.

Highlights included TikTok love from Emma Cooke and Maddy Lucy Dann, plus posts from Ambar Driscoll and many, many others. With editorial hits across The Sun, GQ, Country & Townhouse, Daily Mail and Conde Nast Traveller it was some pretty top work all round.

Tickets sold out in seconds and with Metro calling it โ€œthe perfect answer to the modern travel dilemmaโ€. So weโ€™d call that a success โ€“ chin chin!
