We worked with Opodo.co.uk to reveal what has become an all-too-common Millennial phobia …
Holidays are a time to relax and ease your mind.
But sometimes getting there can be a challenge, especially when everything you need to know about reaching your destination is on your mobile phone.
Our latest story from online travel agent Opodo revealed that a third of Millennials wouldn’t be able to find their way around their holiday destination if they lost their phone. In fact, one in five (20%) Brits said that they would not know what to do if they found themselves lost on holiday without their phone!
The news comes despite the rise of the ‘dumb’ phone, a phone which isn’t connected to the internet or populated with apps. It seems that even when we try to look away from our screens, we Brits depend on technology more than ever, especially when travelling the world.
The story struck a chord with the nation, generating 150 pieces of coverage across the media spectrum including Daily Mail, TiM, MSN, ITV, and over 150 more.
