Come train on the rails as Virgin Active meets Virgin Trains in an April Fool’s stunt … meet the “gym coach: so you can train on the train”

The first day of April is either PR heaven or PR hell depending on your perspective – and where you come out converge wise at the end of the day of course!

Happily, our story for Virgin Trains and Virgin Active (yep, a client double-whammy there) was one that made the cut and so it was a pretty top day for both teams, all in all.

Launching the “Gym Coach” apparently so that people could train on the train simply required a spot of digital imagery and the whole thing was ready to roll there and then.

By the end of the day we’d landed some awesome pieces of coverage, including the Daily Mail, Daily Star (twiceDaily Telegraph and Daily Express.

Even more impressive, however, was the coverage we landed in the lifestyle titles. Those included ELLE (amazing stuff), OK, The Debrief and Best.

So a splendid day of coverage – alongside our work for Barclaycard, proof that we really are some of the biggest fools in the industry.
