In the run-up to Mother’s Day, the Buzz Bingo team looked into what Mums really want for Mother’s Day.
After finding that over half of us wish we had more photos with our Mum, we enlisted Antony Jones, a royal photographer who has snapped the likes of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan and Harry, and numerous Royal weddings.
We offered the chance for Mum’s and their (grown-up) children to have their very own royal portrait captured at a Buzz Bingo club on the big day. Complete with a decadent throne, velvet robe and a crown (of course).
To launch the service, we joined forces with TV presenter and Gavin & Stacey star Joanna Page, who was photographed alongside her much-loved Mum by our royal photographer.
The service was available to guests of Buzz Bingo Tooting on Mother’s Day, with many taking up the offer to feel like royalty for the day.
Media loved it and we secured standout pieces for our research with the likes of Daily Mirror, Daily Star (three times), Daily Express (twice) and Hello! Magazine. With Joanna Page as our spokesperson, we also secured 11 broadcast hits including the likes of Times Radio, TALKRadio and a raft of local BBC stations.
