Today was the day that we found out we’re the most-shortlisted agency at the Purpose Awards 2024 with eight on the lists

Clearly it’s award season given the sheer volume of posts that we’ve banged-out about the various shows that we’re involved with and the various shortlists we’ve found ourselves on – by-and-large for the work that we put out.

Today there was another shortlist announced and, lo-and-behold, we found ourselves on it as we bagged eight shortlist spots on the Purpose Awards EMEA – which are run jointly by Campaign and PR Week, which means we’re up against the great and the good from across European adland. No mean feat to make the lists at all. Nice to be the most-nominated agency on it.

Anyway. Two campaigns from the team made the cut.

First up, our work with the wonderful folks at Trainline made the lists across technology, creativity, advocacy, public awareness and authenticity. We partnered the brand with Missing People to include alerts – geolocated around stations – in the app. That meant that those using Trainline in and around major stations, which are often used by those going missing, were served with posters and photos of those who the charity were looking for. We’re delighted to be shortlisted for the work, clearly, but we’re happier that so far 10 families have been reunited by the campaign.

Meantime our work with IKEA activating the brand’s partnership with Shelter has also got the nod, making the lists across advocacy, authenticity and creativity. The partnership saw us recreate the conditions experienced by those in temporary accommodation as IKEA in-store roomsets. They were in stark contrast to the normally pristine interiors depicted and caught the public’s – and policy maker’s – imagination.

Now we wait to find out if either campaign can turn a shortlist spot into an award win.
