At Hope&Glory, transparency has always been important to us.
Weโve shared our diversity data annually for years, and back in 2016, we were the first agency to put our parental leave policies front-and-centre on our website. But while numbers are great for the spreadsheets, they donโt always capture what it actually feels like to walk through the door (or log onto Zoom or Teams) every morning.
This report, which weโve named Belong, is our attempt to paint a much fuller picture.
In 2024, we launched a new three-year strategy. Now that weโre in 2026, we wanted to hold ourselves accountable. Inspired by industry peers who paved the way (a huge nod to the team at Harvard – now VCCP Roar – for the structural inspiration), we decided it was time to make our progress (and our pitfalls) public.
Weโre the first to admit we haven’t got everything right. Thereโs data in this report that we arenโt especially proud of, and as a senior team, weโre taking full responsibility for the work that still needs to be done.
But we also believe that inclusivity is built on two things.
The Big Moves: Significant, business-wide actions designed to move the needle for under-represented groups.
The Small Moments: The tiny details, everyday habits, and “in-the-weeds” policies that actually create a sense of belonging.
Weโve broken the report down into the “hard numbers” followed by our work across seven key pillars: Disability & Neurodivergence, Gender, LGBTQIA+, Mental Health, Parenting, Race & Ethnicity, and Socioeconomic factors.
Weโve gone into quite a bit of detail because we believe thatโs where the real story lives. Weโre sharing the stuff thatโs worked in the hope that you might want to “steal” our ideas for your own teams, and weโre being honest about where weโre falling short.
This isnโt us claiming weโve crossed the finish line. Far from it. This is us saying: “this is where we are, and this is where weโre going”.
We plan to release a full report like this every two years, with summary check-ins in between. You can read it below and there’s a link to a downloadable PDF which works with accessibility audio readers that you can also access.
Weโd love to hear your thoughts, observations, or even your critiques. Drop us a note at hello@hopeandglorypr.com.
