This is our first DE&I Annual Report as we look at what we’ve done, the progress made and the journey that we remain committed to

At Hope&Glory, transparency has always been important to us.

Weโ€™ve shared our diversity data annually for years, and back in 2016, we were the first agency to put our parental leave policies front-and-centre on our website. But while numbers are great for the spreadsheets, they donโ€™t always capture what it actually feels like to walk through the door (or log onto Zoom or Teams) every morning.

This report, which weโ€™ve named Belong, is our attempt to paint a much fuller picture.

In 2024, we launched a new three-year strategy. Now that weโ€™re in 2026, we wanted to hold ourselves accountable. Inspired by industry peers who paved the way (a huge nod to the team at Harvard – now VCCP Roar – for the structural inspiration), we decided it was time to make our progress (and our pitfalls) public.

Weโ€™re the first to admit we haven’t got everything right. Thereโ€™s data in this report that we arenโ€™t especially proud of, and as a senior team, weโ€™re taking full responsibility for the work that still needs to be done.

But we also believe that inclusivity is built on two things.

The Big Moves: Significant, business-wide actions designed to move the needle for under-represented groups.

The Small Moments: The tiny details, everyday habits, and “in-the-weeds” policies that actually create a sense of belonging.

Weโ€™ve broken the report down into the “hard numbers” followed by our work across seven key pillars: Disability & Neurodivergence, Gender, LGBTQIA+, Mental Health, Parenting, Race & Ethnicity, and Socioeconomic factors.

Weโ€™ve gone into quite a bit of detail because we believe thatโ€™s where the real story lives. Weโ€™re sharing the stuff thatโ€™s worked in the hope that you might want to “steal” our ideas for your own teams, and weโ€™re being honest about where weโ€™re falling short.

This isnโ€™t us claiming weโ€™ve crossed the finish line. Far from it. This is us saying: “this is where we are, and this is where weโ€™re going”.

We plan to release a full report like this every two years, with summary check-ins in between. You can read it below and there’s a link to a downloadable PDF which works with accessibility audio readers that you can also access.

Weโ€™d love to hear your thoughts, observations, or even your critiques. Drop us a note at hello@hopeandglorypr.com.
