Two things have dominated this week in Hope&Glory: dogs and the World Cup.
Of course, there were the Freshpet Puppies that combined the two.
This one was more World Cup than puppies.
What with Sweden vs England, we thought that there was one client we couldn’t resist coming up with an idea for: IKEA, naturally.
So, to mark the match, we came up with a speedy campaign in which the home furnishings retailer would offer a very special dish in its cafes: the Plate of Two Halves.
Yup, for the bargain price of just £1, we convinced them to offer a single dish that combined the Meatballs (for which IKEA is famous) and Fish and Chips. Bringing together a taste of Sweden and a traditional English favourite.
The coverage has been pretty much world class.
