We’re counting down the days to Christmas here at Hope&Glory. However, we know that not everyone can enjoy the luxury of a lazy festive break in front of Love Actually – fuelled by mince pies.
For those to whom Christmas is just another day in the office, we wanted to give something back. That’s why we worked with Uber, and the lovely folk at the NHS, to offer free rides to all NHS staff working over the festive season.
Naturally, coverage came flooding in, with key pieces including the Mail Online, Mirror, Metro, Evening Standard and The Sun. The story cleaned up in the regional press too, with pieces such as the Birmingham Mail, Liverpool Echo and Manchester Evening News. And not to forget the consumer titles, with hits including JOE and LadBible to name a few.
And it wasn’t just a hit with the media. In fact, just one day after the announcement, there were more than double last year’s total sign-ups – and the number’s growing.
A job well done. Spreading a little festive cheer to those who need it most.
