We’ve been helping one of our newest clients make a splash as we’re bringing a revolution to first class travel

This week, we’ve been helping to launch a revolution in travel with the launch of brand-spanking new client, Seatfrog.

The SeatFrog app allows people who have bought standard-class tickets on (initially) Virgin Trains East Coast to bid for empty seats in first class right up to the last minute.

That’s pretty big news, as you can imagine.

To bring the whole thing to life, we worked with the Virgin Trains team to set up a cheeky little photo moment bright and breezy at Kings Cross where Donna Air ran the first auction for seats.

With a great story in our hands and some sweet supporting shots we hit the media.

There were belting pieces across the nationals – including The Guardian, Daily Mail (actually, three times!), T.I.M, CITY AM, Daily Express, The Sun, METRO and The Week. Not a bad haul though we do say so ourselves!

There were also a handful of pieces across the key local titles on the East Coast mainline route – including Lincs Live, Newcastle Chronicle and the Yorkshire Post. And of course there were some lovely trade pieces – great news for the Seatfrog team as they seek more partners for their revolutionary app. Those including RailProTNooz, RailNews, IRJ and Business Traveller.
