Argos already has a stellar home delivery record, however ahead of Christmas we wanted to make its Fast Track service even bigger and better. Tying in with the much anticipated Xbox One X launch taking place on 7th November, we announced that Argos is trialling a very unique pre-order offer.
Customers in London can apply to pre-order a console and receive it at their doors at precisely one-minute past midnight, making them amongst the first in the UK to get their hands on an Xbox One X. No more waiting in the cold at midnight store launches!
To apply for the pre-order, customers simply needed to tweet #FastTrackMyXbox, with lucky applicants enjoying the future of home delivery as a console is delivered to their doorstep at precisely 12.01am.
The initial announcement has been a huge hit so far with coverage in The Sun, iPaper, London Evening Standard, Daily Star and Mirror. It’s also been well received by consumer tech and gaming press, scoring write-ups in T3, Eurogamer, Trusted Reviews, MCV, Gizmodo, Irish News, BT.com and Tech Advisor to name just a few – all with Fast Track messaging.
