February half term was a little different this year, and the usual activities were once again replaced with trips to the living room across the country.
With the majority of UK parents juggling working, childcare and household chores, we launched a limited-edition free toy store, exclusively on the Uber Eats app.
Teaming up with toy manufacturer Hasbro, makers of the much-loved Monopoly, Cluedo and Play-Doh, the store helped busy parents who were at a loss of what to do to keep their kids entertained during half term.
The Hasbro Toy Store on Uber Eats offered seven of their most popular toys and games, available in London and Manchester for a limited time. It meant customers could order via the app and get their hands on a free toy delivery, safely to their doorstep in as little as 30 minutes.
We landed coverage hits on METRO, Daily Mirror and The Daily Star, as well as MSN and across the toy trade amongst well over 100 pieces all-told.
And as for the store, we sold out in the first two days, giving parents some much needed peace and quiet as they left the kids to do what they do best, play!
