Uber has launched the brand new Uber Pet service, we landed some paw-fect coverage to make sure everyone knew about it

This month, we supported Uber Rides on the launch of the new Uber Pet service, making it PAW-ssible for pet owners to order a ride safe in the knowledge that their pet will be allowed to join them.

The new service marks the first time that pets will be able to ride in style alongside their owners with the same Uber comfort that we all know and love.

Customers will now be able to select Uber Pet from the rides options within the Uber app, this will then notify the driver that there will be a pet riding on board – a simple and hassle free way to ride with your furry friend. What’s more, for the first month that the service is active, Uber will be donating £1 from each Uber Pet ride to charity All Dogs Matter.

So it was that we created a series of adorable images showing some good doggos em-bark-ing on their first rides in an Uber, alongside a group of pups getting out of an Uber ready for their morning walk to support the launch.

It’s fair to say that the images went down a treat with over 170 pieces of coverage live so far including Daily Mail, METRO, Independent and a whole host of others.

So next time you’re making plans to go for a long afternoon walk, visit your local pooch-friendly pub or even introducing your colleagues to your furry friend after two years of them making surprise guest appearances on Zoom, book an Uber Pet and ride in style.
