The Final Fantasy XIV team has been busy launching the game’s newest expansion pack, Shadowbringers…

In a nod to the magical lands in the game, the launch kicked off with an exclusive European hands-on preview event at London’s Barbican Conservatory. Media enjoyed hours of gameplay amongst the stunning indoor rainforest and, when they needed a break from exploring Eorzea, we offered craft classes in creating FFXIV themed suncatchers and intricately designed mason jars – perfect for keeping the shadows at bay! We topped off the event with interviews with the much adored FFXIV Producer, Yoshida-San, ensuring all attendees went away with a rich array of content to write up their stories.

Then it was back to business and we hit the ground running managing early-access before launch day arrived with a splash of coverage across the likes of Daily Star, Den of Geek, PCGamesN, Trusted Reviews, and Official PlayStation Magazine, with more pieces in the pipeline as media continue to explore the expansion.
