The “Book of Dreams” is back this Christmas as the Argos team helps spread some much-needed festive cheer…

Christmas is set to be a little different this year, but the team has been working hard to kickstart the celebrations by helping Argos unveil their magical festive advert.

Set to the sound of Gary Barlowโ€™s latest hit single โ€œIncredibleโ€, dampened spirits were lifted by the advert, complete with the usual glittering trimmings youโ€™d expect from the retailer.

Stars of the show โ€“ Lucy and Daisy โ€“ won over the hearts (and journalists) of the nation and held a tear-jerking Christmas performance to an audience of their proud parents. After circling a magic set in Argosโ€™s whopping โ€œBook of Dreamsโ€ Christmas gift guide, the girls pulled-off a series of eye-catching tricks that get more impressive as the show goes on. (Disclaimer: an adorable dachshund is thrown in for good measure).

First out of the gate yet again, this yearโ€™s ad amassed coverage across a range of nationals, including Mail Online, Metro, Daily Mirror, The Sun, Daily Express and iNews, not to mention print pieces in The i, Sunday Express and a double-page spread in The Observer

Accompanying the national hits was a spread of consumer and trade pieces from the likes of House Beautiful, Stylist, Campaign, The Drum, Marketing Week and Retail Gazette. All topped off with a regional syndication taking the advert launch to 60+ pieces… not a bad way to kick-off the festive period.
