We’ve been working with the team at Uber to announce their latest innovation: the launch of public transport information into the app.
Now showing travel information for trains across London public transport, buses and the underground, it’s a pretty big deal and will enable travellers to find the fastest route to their destination – or to combine public transport and Uber to get information about their one seamless journey.
With an innovation this good, we worked with the Uber team to create some simple but effective imagery, refined the messaging and hit the media.
The simple, but effective approach worked.
There was a slew of coverage across the national print media, alongside onlines aplenty including
Evening Standard – Evening Standard, Financial Times, The Guardian, Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, iPaper, Daily Telegraph and This is Money, amongst hundreds of others. There was also the joy of landing the PA bomb, which led to over 150 pieces of coverage across the media.
