Our latest outing with the team at Uber has seen us bring Jump bikes to the streets of London as we announced the next step in urban mobility

Over the last couple of weeks we’ve been working on a media campaign to make sure that Uber’s introduction of Jump Bikes to the London streets landed without a hitch.

This week we got the opportunity to see that plan work pretty flawlessly …

For those who don’t know, Jump Bikes are the latest addition to the London mobility scene.

With great range, these electric bikes will enable Londoners to spin at speed (up to 15 mph) across the city with the wind in their hair. Unlocked from locations across London using the Uber app, they’re the easiest (and cleanest) way to get around town.

We announced the Jump Bike pilot scheme with Islington with some pretty straightforward picture-led news that a ton of groundwork ensured landed across the national media.

There were crackers across the business and news pages with The Guardian, The Times and Daily Telegraph, as well as CITY AM all picking up on the story.

Across the onlines, there was glowing coverage from the likes of Evening StandardCITY AMThe GuardianiNewsDaily MailDaily MirrorDaily TelegraphBloombergReutersCNBCForbes, and dozens of others across the UK and the world.

Simple, effective media skills from the team.
