No turkey? No problem. We made Emergency Turkeys available for delivery on Uber Eats.

With less than a weekโ€™s notice, millions of Brits were forced to rethink their Christmas plans due to tier 4 restrictions across the country. This meant many people found themselves without the Christmas dinner essentials a mere 6 days prior to the big day.

Noticing the dilemma people were in, the Uber Eats team sprang into action and made sure those in tier 4 didnโ€™t miss out on turkey at Christmas. We made Emergency Turkeys available for customers to buy, straight to their door, via Uber Eats.

The media gobbled up the story, with coverage landing on Daily Star (both in print and online), Metro, Independent, Daily Mail and Daily Mirror. The team also managed to impress The Times and Financial Times journalists as they took to Twitter to claim it was โ€œone of the smartest PR stunts all yearโ€.

At the tail end of one hell of a year, weโ€™ll take that. ย
