Hex your Ex … we teamed up with a witch to teach lonely singletons some love spells with The Dungeons for Valentine’s Day

The Dungeons partnered with a witch to host a live “Hex Your Ex” Witchcast to help singletons who were set to spend Valentine’s Day alone during lockdown.

That’s how we found ourselves working with Semra Haksever, author of Love Spells: Rituals, Spells And Potions To Spark Your Romantic Life, to create a bespoke set of spells to help those either looking for – or looking to get over – love.

The live session, hosted by The Dungeons, saw her teach the public how to banish an ex-partner, how to cure a broken heart and how to find new love. The rituals used enchanting elements such as cinnamon, honey, bay leaves, rose petals and candles to promote positivity and healing.

We also also found a tonne of rituals that the heartbroken try to forget about an ex so we thought that the nation could use some that more-or-less guaranteed success.

As you might expect, our virtual event was a smash … as the event secured a host of coverage, including the Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, Daily Star and The Sun.

The end result? The introduction to witchcraft saw over 100 participants join The Dungeons for a fun-filled evening of magic on Valentine’s Day.
