Back of the net … The Airbnb team welcomed superfans to stay at Ted Lasso’s iconic Richmond pub, The Crown and Anchor

The Airbnb team scored more than a hat trick with another exciting Airbnb stay in celebration of the third season of globally hailed TV series, Ted Lasso.

Superfans were invited to step into the players shoes and enjoy an exclusive overnight stay at the show’s cornerstone pub, The Crown and Anchor, which became the unofficial meeting place for AFC Richmond players and coaches on the show.

Guests were hosted by British TV icon Annette Badland, who plays Mae, the pub owner and passionate AFC Richmond supporter in the series, all while enjoying pub fare, cheering on Richmond sports teams and challenging each other to rounds of darts, chess and karaoke.

We even supplied those biscuits and a brew (IYKYK).

There’s clearly no shortage of Lasso lovers in the media, with tonnes pieces of coverage secured to date, including a dedicated interview with Annette in Metro and widespread coverage in Independent, Daily Mirror, NME, Hypebeast and a host of regionals alongside.
