We’re big fans of clever ideas.
We like having them ourselves.
But we also like other people’s clever ideas too.
Which is sort of what we stick on our site.
This was just one of those ideas.
Top and bottom … Dishoom asked people to tell them stories – to reflect the idea that, in the Indian cafés that Dishoon brings to the UK, older generations shared stories with others – ensuring that they’re passed from generation to generation.
So they set out to capture stories from the older generations in the UK and India and then created 80 plates on which the stories are reproduced – you can see more of them (in more detail, you’ll be relieved to hear) on the “read more” link below …
