A very modern day cupid brought flowers and love to the beautiful streets of Verona this week …

Team Royal Mint has once again been “on the money” with this morning’s papers.

With the need to make a splash with the Mint’s Lunar Coin marking the year of the Sheep, we eschewed ridiculous sheep-based stunts (we did think about it!) in favour of some top class imagery.

Working with the Meng dance school – whose dancers will be performing in London’s Chinese New Year celebrations, we sorted some compelling editorial shots (above and below) and brought our visual approach to bear.

This morning we were rewarded with half page shots across The Times, Daily Telegraph, Scotsman, Herald and online pieces thumping in from Daily Mirror, Daily Telegraph Pics of the Day, Independent pictures, the BBC China News website and a host of others besides.

Just goes to show that a spot of visual imagination, some swift set staging and a great piccie can win the day.
