Dunhill creates a stunning new take on the traditional flipbook for Facebook

We here in Hope&Glory were impressed with this little piece of work from Holler, social media outfit to, amongst many others, Dunhill.

It’s one of those really simple “why didn’t I think of that?” ideas that just kinda works.

The top and bottom of it is that the clever little fellas have taken the flipbook and have updated it for the Facebook age by taking a load of shots from the brand’s recent appearance in the Nippon Rally, sequencing them, and have then put them into a Facebook album that you click through at roughly the right speed to animate.

Sweet idea. Simple as that.

And there’s something stupidly pleasing about clicking through the pics manually, rather than, say, watching a video.
