We’ve been working with Pepsi on one of its boldest football campaigns yet — one that bridges generations, reimagines iconic ads, and celebrates the rise of women’s football like never before.
‘Refresh The Game’ is Pepsi’s latest global campaign, and it’s a celebration of the beautiful game’s past, present, and future. Created by COPA90 and visionary director Nicole Ackermann (of Merman and Rascal), ‘Refresh the Game’ stars Pepsi’s newest global ambassadors — Alexia Putellas, Lauren James, Leah Williamson, Caroline Graham Hansen and Farah Jefry — in a high-energy, VFX-rich film that drops them right into some of Pepsi’s most legendary football moments from the past 50 years.
Pepsi’s new wave of talent are joined on-screen by legends including Pelé, Ronaldinho and David Beckham, creating moments that don’t just span generations — they unite them.
Whether it’s nutmegs in the Wild West or flicks over defenders alongside Pelé, each moment celebrates Pepsi’s unmatched history in football culture while looking firmly toward what’s next.
The campaign has racked up over 2,000 pieces of coverage across editorial and social channels with a total reach of more than 1.6 billion. Not bad. Highlights include pieces in The Drum, Campaign Middle East, Marketing Week, Campaign UK, Design Taxi, Forbes, SoccerBible, GOAL, DAZN, 90Min with more to come…
More than a nostalgic trip, this campaign is a powerful statement about football’s future. With women’s football rapidly becoming the fastest-growing sport in the world, Pepsi is spotlighting a new era of talent.
We’re proud to have helped bring this one to life. It’s big. It’s bold. It’s unmistakably Pepsi.
