Don joined Hope&Glory in October 2012 having previously spent four years working on a number of consumer lifestyle brands at boutique food and travel PR agencies. He currently works across IKEA, Uber, Mr Black, Weber Grills, Symington Family Estates and the Edrington Beam-Suntory portfolio – heading up activity across a diverse range of drinks brands including Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark, Naked Grouse, Auchentoshan, Roku and The House of Suntory’s range of Japanese whiskies. Some of his favourite pieces of work include IKEA’s month-long DIY ‘Dining Club’ pop-up restaurant and Breakfast in Bed Cafe, the launch of the Uber Comedy Car at The Edinburgh Festival and a happy few days working as the personal publicist for the iconic ginger-quiffed American talk show host Conan O’Brien for the launch of Turner Broadcasting-owned truTV in the UK. Scottish, ginger, obsessed with the movie Jaws and bearing more than a passing resemblance to a character from Game of Thrones, Don is generally considered a nice bloke (if a little beardy).y.
