Kawasaki Heavy Industries has presented the CORLEO concept, a unique exploration of future mobility, at the Osaka Expo 2025.
While not a motorcycle in the traditional sense, this hydrogen-powered, four-legged robot incorporates Kawasaki’s motorcycle DNA in its design and engineering.
The CORLEO’s design features a “head” reminiscent of a sportbike’s front fairing and a rear section evoking a motorcycle swingarm. Its legs are equipped with rubber “hooves” for enhanced grip. The concept suggests potential rider control through weight shifting on stirrups and handlebars. A proposed 150cc hydrogen-burning engine would power electric legs, with an instrument panel displaying hydrogen levels and navigation.
It’s important to note that the CORLEO on display at the Expo has limited mobility, and the video demonstrating its agility is computer-generated. Currently, there are no plans for production, as the CORLEO serves primarily as a conceptual exercise, highlighting Kawasaki’s innovative approach to future transportation possibilities.
Itโs proof that enduring quality beats temporary trends. Want to stunt on your travels consciously? This is your chance.
