In place of Disney or Wu-Tang Clan-based charms. canyaon’s Crocs boast fishing lures adorning the toe box. The harness ensure they cling to your feet on the slickest of riverbanks. And, because why not, you can accessorise with reels and bait.
But the pièce de résistance? A telescopic fishing rod, neatly tucked into the heel, ready to spring into action like a sartorial Swiss Army knife. Readying the user for action as they stroll down a canal path, the clack of your fishing Crocs echoing off the graffiti-laden walls and alight on a glint of Hackney canal. Now, these are one-offs and there is no discernible way of getting your hands on them; canyaon is more provocateur of the utterly peculiar with interest in elevating footwear to an artform based around the hyper-functional absurdity.
