We went along to the EMEA Sabre Awards 2025 with high hopes and low expectations (and only our expectations were confounded)

They say bad things come in threes. Well it turns out that good things come in threes as well as we discovered that we’d been named EMEA Sabre Awards UK Agency of the Year last week at a delightful awards ceremony in London.

The EMEA Sabre Awards is always a bit of a blink-and-you-miss-it awards affair so it was something of a blur. As a result it’s rather lovely to reflect post-event on the magnitude of the win against some pretty remarkable competition on the night. And what’s more they said some really lovely things about us (thanks Maja!).

The agency’s attention-grabbing campaigns continued to garner industry recognition. Overall, it has been shortlisted over 1,320 times at awards shows and won 515 of those, placing it as the highest-ranked UK agency and only non-network in the Provoke Global Creative Index.

Standout campaigns included its โ€˜Missing Birthdaysโ€™ installation for CALM that displayed 6,292 birthday cakes representing young lives lost to suicide; unexpectedly partnering Nigella Lawson with Greggs for the brandโ€™s first Christmas ad; and creating โ€˜Uber Eats Hosts…โ€™ featuring Brooklyn Beckham as a guest chef to elevate perceptions of the brand.

Hope&Glory has also expanded its international work, now serving as EMEA or global agency of record for brands including Uber, Pepsi International Beverages, Carlsberg, YouTube, Google, and Meta. It has also grown its data-led influencer practice, which now makes up more than 20% of fee income.

The agency’s philosophy of being โ€œa great place to work that also creates great workโ€ has paid dividends, with it being recognised by multiple best places to work awards, including making its debut on the Sunday Times “Best Places to Work” listing in 2024. Hope&Glory prioritises staff retention and development, with 20 team members having served over eight years and 40 over five years. Half of its team started as interns, and it now has three former-intern board directors. The agency invests heavily in training and development, while maintaining some of the most progressive workplace policies in the industry, including flexible hours, enhanced parental leave, and comprehensive returnship support
