We’ve been hunting down some real life fantastic beasts to capture them with the latest addition to Sony’s camera range

Here at Hope & Glory, we love a campaign that involves animals, especially if it means we do our bit to help the environment.

Working with Sony to promote the new RX10 III camera, we partnered with conservation charity EOCA (European Outdoor Conservation Association) and the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources) to find five of the rarest animals living in Europe.

We then sent several wildlife photographers out into the wild and to conservation projects around the continent to capture stunning photography of these animals, demonstrating the quality of images you can capture from afar using the RX10 III.

The incredible focal range and silent shutter capability of the RX10 III meant that our photographers didn’t need to get up close to the animals to take these photographs, ensuring that no animals were disturbed as part of the project.

The images were a massive hit with the media …

Coverage included Lonely Planet and nationals including Daily Express, Daily Mirror and The Guardian, as well as plenty of pieces in camera press (such as Camera Jabber and Amateur Photographer).
